Jensen + Hitachi DSS Universal Remotes
Jensen and Hitachi's universal satellite remote controls were designed to provide an intuitive, simple interface that easily guided the user to the primary, secondary, and tertiary control zones. Three recesses on the back of the case, corresponded to the top three control zones, allowing the user to easily target the desired function areas. The addition of color-coded key pads further helped distinguish the zones.
For Hitachi, Product council developed a patented sliding multi-page that transformed 9 key functions into 27, maximizing on the limited real estate.
